How is it that you know a thousand groups that I never, ever heard of ? Your knowledge of music must be vast. If I had a hat, I would take it off to you

The wheels spin and the wheel bearings are wearing out. How can you force yourself to go to sleep if your not tired if you know you need it without medication?some day you and me should have a roach beef sandwich. You know of Perter Gabriel?

I do know of Peter Gabriel, not much, but Solsbury Hill and maybe a few others.

I have the opposite problem to you, my problem is staying awake, it is a rare night indeed when I go to bed without having had a snooze at some point during the day.
I'm up for a sandwich any time of any day. I like sandwiches.

Wednesday, 9th January, start 16:30

Cold tonight but when I eventually muster the energy to get myself moving it's not too bad.

Deadlift, knee sleeves and squat boots

60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
100 x 3
120 x 3
140 x 3
160 x 3
180 x 3
200 x 3
If I recall correctly this is my first time at 200 for quite some time. I was very tempted to press on and try 210 as all these were pretty damned good tonight, and the main thing is that the knees stayed cheerful throughout. It has been a long hard road to get the knees happy again so I will not get giddy and do something foolish now, I will keep a firm hand on the rudder and keep plodding on. Slow but steady is order of the day for this. Temptation resisted.

Some may recall that last Wednesday one of our younger weightlifters did a PB C&J of 170 last week, well tonight he did another PB of 180. Ten kilos in one week. Happy days and impressive, seriously impressive.

You may know this answer.
The chicken had died before he crossed the road.
This got him to the other side.

Now that I do like. Cheers Billy

I will of course retort -

Does a radio active cat have eighteen half lives ?

The answer is still invisible to me. I must go deep into the woods to listen to the great silences in order to answer a powerful question of retort for now I fort.

That's a hell of a reply Billy, I like it. I particularly like the idea of silences.

"Cast aside the shackles of convention and let the heart run free"

Amen to that.

I've been virally colonised and my sinuses are throttling my brain, hence absence.

In other news, I really like this: https://www.elevancewatches.com/collections/mens/products/midnight-...

Friday, 11th January, start 16:00

A bit at a loss today, I wander round the place wondering what I should do, so for a change

Curl, dumbells
8 x 10
10 x 10
12 x 10
14 x 10
16 x 10
18 x 10
20 x 10

Long time since I did these, my arms have no appreciable shape but they aren't lacking size, therefore they don't bend as far as most peoples. These were rather fun though.

Pulldown to chest, wide grip

50 x 10
55 x 10
60 x 10
65 x 10
70 x 10
70 x 10
70 x 10
70 x 10
70 x 10

Also quite pleasant.

Not many in tonight, Jeff and I are the last two out, were we discover that the outside light, which is sensor controlled and activated by movement doesn't appear to be working. Strange how much you miss it when it isn't there. That can wait for another day, I Tesco on the way home, have a bite of tea and then promptly fall asleep for a two hour nap, hence the late entry. It has been my first full week back at work this week so I am blaming that. Fortunately I have a low activity weekend planned.

I prefer the one you already have, but I don't dislike it, not by a long chalk. If it were a few millimetres larger I would like it more. Follow your heart in the matter of watches.
