Breakfast was most enjoyable, due to the food and the company in equal amounts!!!

I rarely get the opportunity to help as I am generally more of a hindrance.
Unhappy

I wholly concur about the breakfast, and for the very same reasons.

The birthday of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins was the 22nd as we all know, it was however celebrated on the 23rd as on the 22nd there was no-one available who I wished to celebrate it with. But there was yesterday, by the Lord Harry there was. This meant that I slept through "match of the day 2" but that was a small price to pay.

Lee Childs does the multiple 'and' thing, which always throws me as opposed to the comma. When he does it I forget what Jack is up to, which takes me a minute or so as well as a re-read of the last sentence. Then all is good again and I'm back in the room.

I'm relatively new to it. It's rather fun and it is almost instinctive when to use it and when to stick with the comma.

Wednesday, 26th September, start 16:00

Still rather warm

Squat, boots and sleeves on
20 x 5
20 x 5
20 x 5
20 x 5
20 x 5
20 x 5
60 x 5
60 x 5
belt on
100 x 3
120 x 3
140 x 3
150 x 2
160 x 1
170 x 3
145 x 3
145 x 3
145 x 3
All picked up as per Macca's instructions and it did help, all good sets and no knee grief, the only problem now is that I always think that any given set is going to be harder than it actually, I am always pleasantly relieved when it turns out to be easier than I thought. That is all down to confidence and it is coming, admittedly with glacier like speed, but it is coming. Depth is getting more consistent as well.

What good are goodmorning exercise? The seem cool and helpful, but will it help your dead’s or squats? I want to try them. Got a comp comming up. Need all the boost I can get. Don’t want to sway off course add add more weight to the already hovering balloon!

Good for the lower back and the hamstrings, the trick is not to bend the legs very much. No more than you absolutely have to is just about right.

There's only one Jim Grant, unfortunately, because there's not much I like more than a quiet afternoon and a new Reacher.

Have you ever delved into the lives of Nick Stone, John Porter or Tom Buckingham? They may help fill the void until Jack's back.

I've read a few Reacher books, but found them a little predictable. I prefer the old Tom Clancy novels, Jack Ryan, and John Clarke in the likes of Cardinal of the Kremlin, Clear and Present Danger, Rainbow Six, Sum of all Fears, all great reads!

Lee Childs would have written that "Cardinal of the Kremlin and Clear and Present Danger and Rainbow Six and Sum of all Fears".

Fat Pete would have been somewhere between Lee Childs and your version, or indeed exactly your version, or exactly Lee Childs version. Who knows?
