They're the silvery ones from a couple of years ago. Does anybody know if they're likely to stretch a bit, or will I need to get a bigger size? Or do they need to be super tight if I'm going to do any proper lifting? I know nothing about it, except that my feet are hurting a bit at the moment - lol!

![]() One Sexy MoFo Member 101, 2470 posts | All I know about Adidas shoes is that they're narrow as hell. Not really much you can do, though I'm sure they'll feel more comfortable through normal wear and tear. I bought a white/silver pair the other week that look like golf shoes. I've no plans to squat in them, just using them to bench with as I'm a short arse. ![]()

![]() old fat fingers needs to find 10kg Member 192, 640 posts SQ 280, BP 210, DL 245735.0 kgs @ 122.7kgs Eq | I can send them back and swap for a larger size, I just wondered if they were likely to give a bit. They're synthetic (not leather), so perhaps they won't. I have got very wide feet, as you'd imagine, being a bit of a fat c**t.

Cut him some slack, he is an american Member 311, 1751 posts | some of the Adidas should give but if they are tight as f**k, then i'd prolly send 'em back.. .though if you treat them right they will last forever, mine are still going strong after 8 years....got an old pair of the club shoes, was being cheap at the time, but they have served their purpose i too like you and Carlos have 'fat' feet ![]() ![]() ![]()

![]() old fat fingers needs to find 10kg Member 192, 640 posts SQ 280, BP 210, DL 245735.0 kgs @ 122.7kgs Eq | Sounds like I may need to go up a whole size then. I was thinking about getting 11.5, but these really are ridiculously tight. I wore them for about ten minutes last night and my right foot was really painful (the side, not the toe). Cheers for the info.

![]() I personally prefer the stiffest possible. Member 158, 3110 posts SQ 170, BP 107.5, DL 222.5500.0 kgs @ 67.4kgs UnEq | I have narrow feet and mine fit nicely. They do have a snug fit, you do have to loosen the laces quite abit I find. Great supportive shoe.
