Thanks! its much easier knowing that one lift is the focus. Although of course being sensible with my niggle is playing a part too.



Over the last few days gradually developed a sore throat/cough and today a fever. Nothing too serious but enough that I took some paracetamol etc. As a result, getting in enough calories has been tough and my weight has dropped a little along with feeling more tired than usual.

100kg x 1, 1, 1, 1 - Big confidence boost for me, I only got a spotter on the first single, after that I was confident enough to go without.

Bandbell bench

Today, feeling worse rather than better so just got the minimum work done.

97.5kg x 3 PB, 2 - Second rep of second set I lost my line badly, and with no spotter it was not worth the risk so stopped there.

Deadlift (Conventional, Hook grip)

Belt on
140kg x 1, 1, 1, 1, 1
160kg x 1, 1
180kg x 1, 1 - Surprisingly not that tough and I maintained a decent position. Promising. Happy
