Hi guys this maybe futile but I have an area in my garden 6m by 11m that is mine to play with so far as my strongman gear goes. Wanted to put concrete down but its turning out to be quite costly. Also not that this is on the cards but if I decided to sell then It would not be a great selling point having several tonnes of flat concrete along the back of my garden.
So anyone got any ideas what I could put down ?
Also smack in the middle of this area at the moment is a storm drain that is anchored with a hardstanding of 3m by 3m concrete x

As fat as cost goes it is expensive. But don't think you'd have a problem selling it as concrete base is always good for a garage. I've concreted half my garden and at my mums. Half of the concete is gonna be my 'gym' the other concrete Is 'patio' and we have some grass aswell. Much less matainance once it's down.

You could cover the concrete in astroturf if you sell the place? Grin

that mesh that you can put down that allows grass to grow thru ...looks nice ,its solid and you can run about on it and even get down on all fours.

why not stick wood chip down (looks nice enough, also makes the soil underneath really fertile if you (or anyone else) eventually puts grass down instead.

then make a stable platform from some chipboard and rubber mats

Chipboard would just disintegrate with the rain though wouldn't it?
Maybe if you varnished it?
