good performance at cheshire, wish id have had more than 2 week prep for it, seemed to put a decent showing for myself, think I did pretty well on axle deadlift got 4 reps on that and came second or third on the carry, got a couple vids of comp. finished 8th/19 so hit my target.

Gutted no pbs came along but, still happy with session, well that's it for deadlifts from floor due to failure on pb, its blocks until failure now, hit some heavy reps, then back to floor

Here is todays leg session

Squat, intentions to try new tech that gates showed me at junction gym last saturday, as my tech was poor and always ached in legs and back on heavy lifts, so here goes

60x5
100x5,3
130x3
put belt on
160x3
180x2(felt loads of pressure in these 2, but felt good and strong with new tech, nothing hurt for a change)
knee wraps on to test what it was like
200x1 this felt easier than the 180kg, and enjoyed the lift,
225kgx1 PB!!!!!!!! was chuffed to bits with this, not 100%sure on depth, think it was far enough, still hapy as hell, still need a lot of work on the tech, but its going in the right direction,

Laying leg curl
4sets 0f 8-4 reps

Leg press

Standing calf raises

well happy with todays session, like i said looking forward to squatting, especially since ive learnt the right tech on it,

What's your thoughts on one legged drills?

Good squat that mate a lot stronger then me. Just keep hammering good form, mine is getting better all the time.

Cheers matey, very much appreciated, begginers luck though, also felt like my head was going to explode! Was ages till pain around back of eyes went, and thanks to you I like squats again :-)

just watched the video mate would deffo work on pushing your knees out they buckle in an keep your head up higher too keep upper back tight.

Cheers matey, will aim for that on next session, oh yes the plates ha ha, it makes it eaasier to take plates of for moose's squat, he's not squated in ages so wanted to take it steady :-)

Right here's todays session

Strict press
60x6,6

Pushpress
80x4,
90x4,
100x4
Put belt on,
110x2 1st drive went to my ears
115x2 again 1st drive didn't go no were, but 2nd and 3rd did, also pb on reps on both sets

Was really hurting in tendons and shoulders, don't think I warmed up properly,

Bench
60x8
80x6
100x3
110x3

Still really hurting, was planning on hanging cleans but thought the wise thing was to back off so

Superset rope pressdown and reverse grip ez bar curl x4 sets

Superset tricep rope extension and ez bar curlx4 sets

3 sets of standing cable crunch

3 sets of db side bends.

Body was battered so called it a day, had to get a spotter for 115kg attempt as I nearly went flying on 110 :-)
