No, I got caught out by them bringing the closing date forward at the last minute. Got a few comps lined up so plenty to focus on!

Cheers mate, much appreciated but there's a few stronger than me on here .
My Wilks is around 480 in comp & I'm sure there's people around 490-500

I've decided that 30 mins a week on my deadlift may not be enough to hit my target of 300kg! Started as I mean to go on tonight by doing some extra back work.

Pleased with session. Worked hard & all reps were nice & deep. Gonna add 5kg every couple of weeks & see how it goes!

Felt great to be back doing heavy reps. Not really trained deadlift hard in a couple of months due to competitions. The aim it to work back up to 250kg x 5 in a couple of weeks then for 260kg x 5 (PB is 4 reps)

145kg x 5(narrowly failed 6th rep)
145kg x 5

Increased top set weight by 5kg over what I've been doing. Will stick at this for a few weeks then increase to 150kg. Determined to train really hard over the next 2-3 months leading up to the british. Didn't train bench properly for weeks due to pec year prior to worlds then 2 comps. Did a paused 175 prior to pec tear so excited about where I'll end up after this period of training.

Feels great to be doing reps again. Strongest I've ever been was when I'd been doing heavy sets of 5 at the start of this year.

That would be good mate! I made the mistake of losing too much weight before the worlds & ended up weighing in a kilo under without any effort & a full breakfast. Planning on bulking up to 77kg then cutting water before comp next time. Hopefully that way I'll keep my strength!
