Incline
60 x 3

120 x 1 Easy rep, failed the 2nd rep somehow

Decided to work back up to 120 again
100 x 1

125 x 1

Definately seem to be missing a little bit of power since i last did relatively heavy low reps on incline. The target next time is 120 x 3 again and maybe a heavy single at 130. Hopefully i can get myself back around my PB of 140, 120 x 5 is also another target over the next few months.

220 x 1 PB A bit slow off the floor but pulled it out. Even 205 felt slow off the floor, more hamstring work needed.

Down to 200-205 for reps of 3-5 next week.

Finished off with a few sets of curls lol

90 x 5 PB Last rep was a grinder, 85 last week for 5 reps more were in the tank there. Not sure i would of been able to get 1 more rep at 90 though.

Very very tempting to go for 105. My repping has come on leaps and bounds, just not sure whether or not the 1 rep has come along with it to improve on my 100 x 2 i did a while back.

Floor Press

140 x 1
100 x 8

All slowly lowered and paused at the bottom. I'm new to them so not sure what i can handle, used to mainly used dumbells for floor press.

175 x 1 PB Almost lost control of the bar half way up lol
140 x 3 Just concentrated on keeping my head up when i Squat as i think that's the issue with losing control on the 1rm.

1's feel weird after not doing them for a long while

Next week back off a little, with 150 x 5 the target

Incline

Realised the Incline i was using was a lot higher than the normal incline in which i set my PB. Made a huge difference to the loads. I knew something was wrong with the set up just couldn't figure out what.

120 x 3 Easy, 5 is definately in there
130 x 1
135 x 1

I was going to go for 140 next but thought i mite aswell go for 142.5.

142.5 x 1 PB Scruffy as hell.

Cheers lads, PB's (220 deadlift, 135 closegrip) were around about last time i bulked but i didn't attempt them for some reason.

Yesterday's session- just a quick one before work

Deadlifts
60 x 3
100 x 3

140 x 1
180 x 1
210 x 2

Now the plan was to go for 200 x 5 next, but i decided to go for an attempt at a cheeky 230.

230 x 1 PB I got it to just below the knee and the bar slowed down really quickly but i was not letting going of it, hardest rep i've ever had to do. If a fly had of landed on the bar i think i would of failed it Grin

15" Deadlift next week i think

105 x 1 PB Grin Happy with that, knew it was there



Push Press
115 x 3f x 1 PB Got it on the 4th attempt. 3rd attempt was close so went straight for it straight after the fail. It should of been easier than that though. I did want a crack at 120, but that aint going to happen today.
