Mark and me stuck to our normal Sunday bench and row session. Bench 60x5 80x5 then paused doubles @87.5, 97.5, finishing with 2 single pauses at 107.5 10x3 @100kg Close grip 90kgx1 lol yes 1 rep. 90x4, 85x5, 80x8 Pendlay row 60x6 then 4x6@75kg Overall a good way Tio finish off our first bench cycle. Off to PTS Northampton next week for a mess around on the strong man gear. Sue didn't let us down with the sausages today. We had a nice selection served with tea, orange juice and crusty rolls. | ||

Miss loaded the bar at 195 ended up with 205 on there ass shot up in the air and ouch. Terrible session caused by too much whiskey yesterday I'm affraid. | ||

Lat pulldown 3x10 @70 DB row 3x10@37.5 Machine row 3x10 @70kg 3x10 bench dips Few circuits of battle ropes, sandbags, kettlebell walks Kettle bell swings 3x15@20kg 20 mins on the exercise bike Overall a nice assistance session in a very hot gym.. Back to squat, bench and deads tommorow ! | ||

Intrested in learning Olympic weightlifting. Squated on my own tonight as Ian in France 60kg x5 100x5 130x2 150x2 160x2 170x2 185x1 Bench 60x5 80x5 90x2 100x2 102.5x2 105x2 107.5x2 Deadlift Deadlifts upto 170kg working on form. Hit them hard next Monday . Ended up waiting for my son who was taking a PT session at fitness for less. So ended up spotting for his mate who was having a chest session. Then ended up joining in lol Bench press 60x6, 90x6, 6x5@85kg Fly/wide press incline 15kg x 10 & 40kgx10 x2 Pretty tired now! | ||

the banter has started Member 4515, 594 posts SQ 220, BP 150, DL 250620.0 kgs @ 129.5kgs UnEq | trained on sunday with big stu and mark at pts northampton we did a series of events related to strongman. cant remeber the weights but we had a great time. events included. log press, swiss bar press, prowler pushes, sled pulls, farmers walk and yoke carry. monday night at home worn out from sundays session i did single deadlifts upto 210kg. Wednesday at the farm really wanted to nail some big squats and deadlifts tonight but it wasnt happining. finished with a single at 160 on the squat and a 210 on the deadlift. not what i expected 2 weeks before my first comp. my benching on the other hand is staring to come together. i did paused singles at 102.5 105. 110, 112.5 and 115 before hitting a 117.5 straight from the chest. few days rest now before i get on it. | ||

Got some ice on it quickly and minimum damage was done. Sunday bench session with mark bench press warm up 5x60kg, 5x80kg paused singles on 90kg, 100kg, 110kg then we did 10 sets of doubles all paused and called out on 100kg. followed by 90kgx7, 90kgx6, 90kgx5 not paused. we finished the session with some speed deadlifts. openers for the English more than likely will look like this. squat 170kg bench 105kg deadlift 200kg | ||
