In competition in February I failed 170kg, yet managed it for 4 reps yesterday after a total of 12 at 167.5kg beforehand. I've only gained about 4kg since the competition, so not a huge amount of bodyweight helping with strength increases lately. | ||

I've attempted it several times over the YEARS since I hit 117.5kg, each time I've either hurt my shoulder with the attempt, or its knocked my confidence failing it and I've trained like a dick for ages after it. Couple of light weeks and then a 6 week build up to a competition I think to see if I can recreate recent form on a platform. | ||
