I'm really pleased with the past couple of days. In competition in February I failed 170kg, yet managed it for 4 reps yesterday after a total of 12 at 167.5kg beforehand. I've only gained about 4kg since the competition, so not a huge amount of bodyweight helping with strength increases lately.

Set the box at the point where I fail a regular squat, a tiny bit above parallel. Sat down on to the box and paused for a second or so. Felt good.

Squat PB, but the program actually called for 187.5kg for a double. I've had a cold over the weekend and warm ups didn't feel quite as quick as I'd like so I played it safe with 2 singles.

Finally benched 120kg. I've attempted it several times over the YEARS since I hit 117.5kg, each time I've either hurt my shoulder with the attempt, or its knocked my confidence failing it and I've trained like a dick for ages after it.
