Consett, Co Durham Date: Saturday 12 May 2012 Start time: 12.30pm Athletes must sign in by 11.30am Closing date is 5th April 2011 North of England 90kg strongest man 2012 1: 180kg Squat for reps within 75 secs. NO SUITS, knee wraps and belt 2: Carry 125kg 1 framers walk cylinder 15mts, 3 flip 350kg tyre. 250kg sled drag 15mts 3: 110kg Axle clean & press within 75 secs 4: Van lift hold (no straps) 5: 270kg Super yoke 15mts 6: last man standing deadlift: starting weight 180kgs referee (ME) will increase weight, every athlete has to lift in each round? NO SUITS, Straps allowed. These events maybe subject to change. The entry fee is £15. This pays for venue and administration costs.
