My brother thinks I'm prone for a back injury, anything there for me to change?

Thanks Happy

Well done, if you want a couple quick tips, bring your feet in an inch or two as your knees are "valgus-ing" and stop looking up, keep your head neutral.

looked ok to me but a view from the side would better show what shape your backs in

Elliot good work. Looks like you're rounding your back a little. Try keep that locked. Apart from that good work and you're definitely strong enough to get more

This video of a 180 shows my back a lot better:

This is Sugden at its best - a 400+ dead lifter encouraging a sub 200 dead lifter Happy

Dead right, although it's more usually someone with a sub 200 deadlift criticising a 400+ deadlifter Roll-Eyes

I had a training session with Terry so he'd already ok'd my form a couple of months ago. However he is a friendly bloke! Was much more interested in spending time with my training, than taking money off me!

Hopefully not sub 200 for long, 200kg by the end of the month Happy

Got my 200kg deadlift Happy wasn't exactly great form, also losing my grip on the way up and had to drop the bar, after locking it out!

Been after this for ages Happy

Shall be working on my reps and form now before I go for a 1RM.

Well done on the PB. 200kg is a very satisfying weight to hit.

I'd just say be careful with your arms though as there's a fairly distinct bend in them. That's a whole lot of stress going through the biceps tendon.

Next stop 220kg!!!

Not on matters of the deadlift though, maybe just their obsession with creating new orifices.

If you point your toes out slightly it will allow you to push your knees out to the side a little which will get your hips slighly closer to the bar which should make the lockout a bit easier. Also try to use your legs a bit more.

Yeah I was pointing my toes out yesterday, obviously you can't see it too well in that video. Someone else picked up on that from the 190 video. I know I need to get some more legs into it too. Going to start working on it!
It's only the 190 and 200 that I've struggled locking out. Every other one has been easy to lock out. Clearly need to play around with things to progress from here.
