Saw this girls avatar on Fortified Iron... thought it was a photoshop or something at first.

Obviously not: http://www.ironasylumgym.com/arnold2006/kerribench.html

Thoughts?

duno bench shirt takes all the weight away at bottom of lift, so might be safer on rotator cuffs whilst body still growing?

i think she will have more weight on than she would normally anyway making the diff strain on the RC negligble!

I used to love equipment , but i now think along the lines of it not being a good thing to give support (some would say protection) , if the body can lift it then it can lift it , this wee lassy - big arch , shirt ,minimum ROM ,not for my little girl (mainly because i dont have one) they are just chasing numbers , IMo far better to just see a youngster do a basic ,solid position ,but full benchpress

i must note that out of all the equipment the bench shirt was my fave !! so fairs fair

i tried a bench shirt once and i usually touch and go off chest on 1 rep max, but with shirt i could hold it on my chest for ages, it felt like there was no weight on the bar: the bottom 2-3 inches.

that will because the shirt takes the strain off ye triceps and its restin on ye chest 2.
