Paused Squat
65kgx5x3
105kgx3

185kgx3
205kgx3x5

Deadlift
70kgx5x2
120kgx3

220kgx3x5

Deload this week with powerlifting comp on Sunday, looking for atleast 300kg squat in wraps, 160kg bench and 280kg deadlift to give me 740kg total, which would be 10kg above the qualifying total for brits/euros/worlds etc. But hopefully get a big more but not wore wraps in the build up and done very little deadlifting without straps so will have to see how the grip holds up, biceps been sore since going strapless

Your going from strength to strength John. Glad to see your still getting it done. You’ll kill it this year at this rate. Do you have plans at PL as well as U105?

thanks mate, hope your keeping well?

At the moment still unsure just enjoying training but looking at probably doing powerlifting at either 110kg or possibly 125kg depending on how the bodyweight goes, currently between 115kg and 119kg, varies week to week but will see where I am at end of Feb and decide as I am eating better now after getting through all the Christmas chocolate and cakes etc Happy I'm doing 125kg class in this weekends powerlifting qualifier and will probably do another at 110kg in another month or two

Going to do the strongman naturals at open weight as its usually on the day weigh in and depending on bodyweight end of feb either open weight strongman or 105s again.

I’ve only dropped weight a few time but every time I did I was never as strong as I was before the weight cut. Not worth it for a hobby in my opinion. Enjoy the cake and keep on the same path you are now. Seems to be working wonders. If only there was an u120 class in strongman

Sunday 03/02/18

Competed at the GPC powerlifting qualifier, weighed in at 115.4kg so was in the 125kg class, could have dropped the weight but just couldn't be bothered. Went in to the comp with the aim of getting a 320kg squat and getting a pb total

Squat
280kg 3 whites
300kg 3 Whites
320kg 3 whites (PB)

Bench
160kg 3 whites
165kg 3 Whites
170kg 3 whites

Deadlift
280kg 3 whites
290kg 3 Whites
300kg 3 whites

790kg total (12.5kg PB)

First time in many years to hit 9 out of 9, although on bench and deadlift I was just hitting enough to get a pb total. There was maybe another 5kg on bench, a good 20kg on deadlift and possibly 10kg on squat so something to work on going forward. Really should be hitting 200kg plus on bench but always struggled with it

Should have some vids at some point this week so will post up when I can get hold of them
