EVENT ONE. Log press medley,115kg,120kg,130kg and 140kg. Each log timed.90secs ( a lift at 115kg must be acheived to progress to final)
EVENT TWO.Deadlift,rising bar starting at 280kg,10kg increments upto 300kg,5kg therafter.Athletes have a maximum of 4 lifts.( the opening lift of 280kg must be acheived to progress to final.)
EVENT THREE. Grip,stand and hold 95kg bottles with thick handles.
EVENT FOUR.Medley-230kg duck walk 15m,chain and anchor 15m,timber walk(approx 300kg) 15m(90secs)
EVENT FIVE.Car walk(approx 320kg) athlete inside car supporting weight on shoulder straps as per BSM and WSM.(75secs)
EVENT SIX. Stones 110kg,120kg,130kg onto high barrels,140kg,150kg and 160kg onto lower barrels.(90secs)
Events,timing,weights etc are all subject to change following testing.
Elbow supports allowed,no lifting straps,one powersuit,belt buckle to back on log,no towel or any such aid.Neoprene shorts,knee supports allowed,but no support belt under lifting belt subject to confirmation of BSM ruling.
There are at present 10 places in the final available,there is a possibility subject to funding that there may be an additional one or two places. |
