Benedikt Magnusson World Deadlift Record 460kg

3rd April 2011 - Posted by Rob Benedikt Magnusson of Iceland smashed the world deadlift record yesterday at MHP's Kings of the Bench V & Clash of the Titans IV, with an incredibly easy looking pull of 460kg (1015lbs), using only a belt with no suit.

This places Benedikt Magnusson above England's Andy Bolton as the all-time world record deadlift holder, and makes him the second man in history to break through the 1000lb barrier.
