Very very very good question

Dean Willey was stronger in my opinion and as a kid I love the 8 photo breakdown of his snatch of 137.5kg in Los Angeles from start to finish

Brilliant

Due to the fact Dean was stronger I actually prefer Stuart if I had to choose, his lifts impress me more

Picking a favourite out of a Yorkshire lad and a southerner is tough though Wink

I would say Dave Mercer Grin

It is a jerk at least, even if it's a ropey split jerk

Well done

I don't think we will ever see such a great athlete at 69kg as Stuart was

Fantastic performances from him over the years

couldnt see those foamy logs catching on either but there they are in all virgin gyms!
Awesome kit Grin

Very good point

I guess mark was right, but you would use them in secret at virgin

This is the part where you say you don't use the foamy logs ever too Wink

I like the functional almost strongman esk training you can see in the biggest loser

The other program was good because of the tits I reckon, but then I did fall asleep while these two shows were on

On the subject of exercise merchandise to waste money on I saw a "biggest loser" water bottle in asda the other day

I'm pretty sure it is used to keep water on while watching the tv show

Watching your videos I thought you would hate squatters!

Scotland will more than likely always look to England for financial support however this goes

The statistics show that as a nation it needs us to make important decisions on complex issues

However they have a right to independence and freedom of expression as do all living creatures

Banded lifting for crossfit?

Can't see that bit of kit catching on but a similar idea could be more fun

Tuesday 10th January 2011

Back squats

60x3
100x3
140x3
180x3
205x3
140x5

5 minute rest, maybe more while Joni push pressed away... Which help my back get ready to pull

14.5" deadlift

70x3
110x1
150x1
190x1
230x1
250x1

18" deadlift

250(3x1)

All mixed done with alternating mixed grip

Then I did the next four exercises in a round robin

Hyperextensions

10(3x20)

Crunches

3x30

Calve raises

80(3x30)

Stiff legged deadlift

70(3x10)

Perfectly fine session for me, am going to do a bit of weightlifting after my hospital appointment tomorrow, which will be fun after today's session

Sounds good to me, the day after a comp you can do precisely anything you like Happy

What's a 3,2,1 routine?

You and the bearded French dude are in the same boat with deadlifts it would seem

Still any exercise is decent and that's a lot of reps!

If it was tight due to a pump or training I may be the same, then a good lie down and a little stretching would help

But it was tight due to a lack of exercise and being stood still/upright for too long

I think I suffer from pre emptive regarmortis
