Just been looking at the first few pages of your journal. In January 2008 you were "absolutely delighted" with a 210 dead lift PB! You've made great progress Happy

The ass muscles certainly play a big role.

I lost count of the number of times I stood on pieces of wood with nails sticking out when I was a kid. I was given a Tetanus injection every time. A nurse has told me that I've had WAY too many Tetanus jabs and a further one could kill me!!! Doesn't sound very feasible to me.

Have you thought about using a belt?

I have an inflamed sacroiliac joint. A belt isn't the answer. I might try front squats instead. I'll see how it goes.

I used to be obsessed. Now I'm just very interested.

Just done 4 x 4 on strict press with 89Kg, and some other s**t.

Anyone in mind in particular WayneGrin

I think there should be a thread cap. For example, anyone starting as many threads as Wayne should have to wait until 2012 before posting againHappy

Anyone in particular? No comment.

Amongst all the crap I think I do occasionally manage to produce an entertaining/popular thread. "Supermarket rage" seemed to thrive Happy

Deadlift is still in the category of "worst deadlifters in 105s" - PBs there feel like chasing a train leaving the platform.

That's how I feel, and there really is no excuse for it at my height Unhappy

Great stuff!

Very strong farmer's.

I'm just 1 kilo ahead of you on the dead lift now!
» Maxing out. (Go to post)22-09-2010 @ 22:09
I was training near max all the time and regularly attempting PBs. I made progress with this style of training. I'm now experimenting with some reps to see what happens.

It saddens me greatly, but eventually, as more and more people come over here, I fear the site will end up like MT

Maybe there should be a cap on the number of members. Someone new could only be allowed in when somebody has been banned.
