Tom_Martin said: I've not lifted at many comps but it was the strictest I've lifted at. My one and only successful squat got 2 whites from the sides and a red from the center for depth. One of my benches got 2 white from the sides, and a red from the center (again) for the bar touching too low. Both of these strike me as being a bit odd... I don't want to get into the argument of whether or not you can accurately judge these thing from the center chair, but it's definitely not an ideal position to be giving reds from (for depth or bar positioning on bench) especially considering the side refs were happy. But this is why there are 3 refs, thankfully for me. like your squats and benchs refs ain't perfect i suggest you take the course and sit in the chair yourself see how many bad calls you make | |||
