You should be drinking oats by the pint bryce, not beer.
You have a comp coming up, get serious man! Wink
Hows the knee?

Just bought myself a grinder for some oats so ill be on that soon. Ive been warned to stay off the whiskey by the wife as i end up in a right mess.

Knee is getting better(stitches out yesterday), Ive started squatting (have also started a journal) but my squats are very partial-may have done my knee some damage. May head to the physio soon Tongue

cornona, peronni or good old tennets?

You are forgiven for everything since you are scottish, personally i would hit the Tennents as I live in england now i never get it anymore. That little taste of home/student piss ups. That and its bloody cheap.

Hi everyone,
thought it was about time I started a training log. My name is Bryce and Im training for U90kg strongman, Im an ex-rower and distance runner (although running was boring so i didnt last long on that sport).

Ive been to OSG a couple of times for events but Im out of the game at the moment due to my farmers walk accident which battered my knee up good.

EDIT: Thought I should add some pre-journal PBs/goals

Bench 90kg (wrist wraps only)
Squat 150kg (belt and wrist wraps)
Deadlift 190kg (belt only)
Push press 72.5kg (wrist wraps only)
Strict press 57.5kg (wrist wraps only)

Goals are to break into the top 400 of the powerlifting league by early 2011. My main issue with strongman is that Im too weak so thats what I will focus on

Wednesday 22nd July 2010:

Squat
20kg/5,5
40kg/5,5,5
60kg/5,5
80kg/3,3
60kg/20,20,20

Front squat
20kg/10,10,10

Pretty good start considering the state my knee is in. All squats were bodybuilding-tastic (ie. partial). Hope to get back to depth soon.

Now for some fun, guess who said this quote: 'Life is a waste of time, time is a waste of life, get wasted all the time and you will have the time of your life.'

Thing said:i also have an eggagemnt party to go to tonight so what will i drink

Jack 'n' Coke or Beer

eggagement party? that sounds good, i like eggs.

Beer is the obvious choice as jack is nasty (thought you were scottish mate? get some proper whiskey)
