Member 4923, 1795 posts | I think i have the same issue beza, although not as severe, more niggly than anything. Does this describe your problem? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Quervain_syndrome I have been wrapping my right wrist for the past couple of months and getting on with things, but my thumb would eventually go numb and the injury never healed. Think I will take a leaf out of your book and rest it for a month, maybe take up jogging or something

I hit a pb today with a chest infection Member 3283, 1921 posts | Yeh similar mate, although i don't have problems with my thumb, just on the outer of my wrist. I'm just squatting at the moment, but I'm thinking of going back to deadlifting but using straps as I never do. I've also started sleeping with a wrist splint as I think it's bent throughout the night from the way I lie. That and my job is most likely what's caused it as opposed to lifting. At least that's what I tell the mrs lol
