He had other clothes, seemingly quite normal ones

Normal clothes, anorak, beard, sunglasses...

This is obviously someone outstanding trying casually to blend in. I think taking a different route to work is excessive, but this person is definitely someone to avoid. You just don't know with people.

Wednesday, 27th June, start 16:00

Hot, very hot.

Consultation with a calendar has revealed that the comp is seven weeks this weekend, previous experience has taught me that in the run up to a comp time passes at about twice its normal rate. So not very long at all

Bench, very raw
20 x 15
20 x 15
20 x 15
40 x 5
60 x 3
80 x 3
90 x 2
100 x 2
all paused now
110 x 1
120 x 1
125 x 1
Touch and go again
120 x 2
120 x 2
115 x 3
115 x 3
105 x 7
I would have stopped at eight but as you can see there was no need to

Close grip
65 x 8
75 x 8
85 x 8
95 x 8
No point trying the 105 tonight. I'm buggered and as sweaty as I have ever been. It has been fun though

Can't risk it Bim. Over many years I have been lost more times than I care to remember and when approaching strangers to ask directions it is not at all unknown for people to hurry in the general direction of away. Last time I was lost was in Liverpool and several people held their hand out in a "talk to the hand" gesture and hasten their pace. This man may be strange but I have no wish to cause him distress

If he is heading for the station, would that not only be the one train, with maybe a second on the way home. My knowledge of outdoor activities is happily very limited

When people that pass away that I was friends with, it seems like I can hear them talking to me. They may say something like so here is your gym! I imagined it was smaller. Maybe everything's alright now. Probably my mind saying these things. Has your mind ever thought of a person thAt is deceased and you could almost hear them saying something that only they would say?

Yes, generally my old coach and founder of the club. he was a terrific man, his knowledge and passion were vast, his method of conveying it was unusual but often very humourous. His presence is still at the club, and also in a quiet corner of my mind. Long may he remain there.

It could be a double bluff. These Russian spies have to hide out somewhere you know, and don't be fooled by the gigs. As my old fella used to say "in the land of the two eyed man the four eyed man is king".

Does he wear this regalia everyday or was it a one off?

The anorak is a daily thing, which isn't a problem, in the rain the hood is up, in the dry the hood is down, so far so good. As a public transport user it makes sense to carry something in case of an unforeseen shower and I suppose an anorak is easier to carry than most things and certainly harder to forget. It was just the fact that it was with sunglasses, that's what threw me. As a long time glasses wearer I would have to have prescription sunglasses which are an extra expense for something that I don't need, so I have never worn them, not ever if I recall correctly. If it is a truly bright day I see no harm in them but many wear them when overcast or even indoors, this always surprises me. Now it would seem anoraks do to.
