Hello Guys,
I have recently started a company that produces strength sports and fitness Movies. I made the film below with Plymouth Performance Gym and i would love to get some feedback from some guys in the powerlifting community to see what you think? I will be making a number of movies over the next 12 months and I would like to see if I am getting off on the right foot.

Thank you for any comments good or bad.

All looked a bit random to me. Not sure what your target audience is? If you're conveying a 'flavour' of the sport of powerlifting maybe you need some comp footage included?

I wouldn't say it looks like it's particularly aimed at powerlifters, more just a general training vid. It does look professionally made, which is great. I'd would suggest though that the next time you make one make the guy in the grey t-shirt wear a different colour as if you're trying to make a promotional video big sweaty armpit stains don't look great! lol

If you want to promote powerlifting have a purpose :-

Introduction
History/Heritage
The Lifts
Good Training Tips
Each movie should have a focus or a profile of that days training or methods
of what the focus is that day and why ?

I would want to gain information or learn from a this type of video.

However if you are promoting the brand of club then fine but this is just a general montage of guys/girls lifting/training. I personally like a "What is in this for me, the viewer"

Thank you.

Thanks for your feedback guys. This video ended up as a promo video. It was originally going to be a talking heads film but as I was lifting in the vid (I'm the guy with the blue #strongaf t shirt) the conversations got all thrown out and the footage was to all over the place to use.

Agreed with the straps. We had some strongman competitors in the vid and they insist in keeping their hands in pretty condition haha. As a powerlifter I don't condone this behaviour.

My next vid will be far more structured and story based. I will post it up for you to critique when it's finished.
