Warmed up to 200kg on deadlift then realised as my knee was giving me grief today wasn't the day to go for 217.5kg x2. Will see how knee is tomorrow.

I'm hoping that today's deadlifts felt harder than last week because yesterday I deadlifted up to 200kg, which is about 90% of my max. Next week I want to be doubling 220 ish if possible. At the same time as weighing slightly less than I do now.

British power lifting North west Christmas extravaganza comp.

Had a bad knee the day or two before comp and dislofenac wasn't helping. Normally helps after a few hours of taking 1 so was a bit worried

Knee felt a bit better this morning.
Weighed in at 80kg so was lightest I've ever been in my memory.

Squat 150/160/165
Maybe 170 would've gone.

Bench 115/120/125
Should have gone heavier really. Played safe.

Deadlift
200/210/220

Was the only M1 u83 but it seems all the novices were lumped in together anyway. Quite a few u83s be a few others.

1st place. 510 total
Pretty happy with first full comp.

Done some training since comp.
mainly upper body as I need to sort my knee.
Planning on competing in April then maybe June and August.
