I am a bench-only guy Member 3, 10035 posts SQ 185, BP 175, DL 235 595.0 kgs @ 140kgs UnEq Administrator	The referees here seem to have taken the line that a slight tremor in the shock of the catch (as opposed to something involving triceps strength) is not an infringement, which I think is pretty reasonable. As with PL depth, the rules are really about the customary interpretation thereof.

Lost his pen, then found his pen. #phew Member 4899, 2956 posts	Sorry, I'm watching the Group B SHW Snatches and I'm getting a bit distracted... Largely I think the WL Refs do a cracking job - especially considering the speed at which they must make their decisions - but when you have Slow Motion HD Replays things become apparent that you maybe don't see Live (and of course the Commentators have to say something about that). Also I believe the Jury cannot use video replay (regardless of the fact that it may be being replayed on a 15m screen right in front of them) in their deliberations of whether to over rule a decision...a similar rule was (and may well still be) in Race Walking, where warning for Lifting had to be given using the naked eye, even though the TV Companies delighted in playing Super Slow Motion recordings whenever it was written in their contracts that they had to show it.

I would have thought they'd have stopped the Comp too, as it must have been at least distracting for Aleksanyan.

The Iranians were a disgrace, both the lifter and coaches reaction and actions following Salimi bombing, and the Iranian fans when Lasha was lifting. His response to the crowd was class!!! I like him a lot!! Reckon he was good for a 220 snatch as well!!

The snatch was superb; Lasha's 215kg WR looked like a warm up for him; as above, there's deffo more in that and IMO, he's going to put it out of the Iranian dudes reach! His overall WR total was superb as well and again, looked massively powerful in the C&J and I can see Rezedah's record going soon enough, if Lasha stays fit! It was a shame the Iranian dude bombed on the C&J but he looked blown, the snatch took it out of him IMO and he never really recovered enough! Felt really sorry for the Turkmenistan lads bombing on the snatch too; it was never in him and I'd say the coaches were at fault for that And overall; the crowd need their fking heads slapping; booing and all that st! Loved how Lasha was all smiles at them, he fed off it!

To his credit Salimi did applaud Talakhadze's last lift and also congratulated a member of the Georgian Coaching Team, which I kind of missed in all the celebration last night.

They did look pissed; but in all honesty, his lifts were no lifts, his arms were soft and there was definite movement IMO
