Thursday 8th May

40 x 3 x 2
45 x 1
50 x 1 x 2
55 x 1

80 x 5
85 x 3

Sled
+0 40m forwards, 40m backwards

+15 Curl x 20, Bench x 20

Groins just about survived the loaded drags, need to be careful.

Overhead Plate Walk
25kg x 120m

Fun session, sweated loads!

Power Snatches

Snatch Deadlift 100x5

Nice Sugden Slam, Rob!

You should try those snatch grip deadlifts stood on a platform for a ridiculous range of motion.

Ed, I'm a bit strange and I do enjoy these power snatch thingies. It's not a change of direction really, just doing what I have fun doing! The oly stuff can only help with my weak deadlift lockout when I get back to deadlifting properly, so thats a bonus.

lol cheers Dai, I'll see what I can dig out for the next vid Wink

Thanks Millsy, I have to agree I thought it was a pretty good slam given the lack of the weight on the bar. I went for the patented Olly Jackson 'head down' manouevre immediately post drop.

Platform ideas a good one, I don't think I'll bother doing them in future again though to be honest, just can't get the back flat, I reckon it's a risky exercise for long limbed lifters.

Right the girlfriend just t**tted my laptop, it's "bedtime" and time to "stop being a geek" apparently. I have her round my little finger don't worry.

How thin are your ankles Rob ?

Pretty thin Pete. I'm not even a wicket, I barely qualify as a stump these days.
