Training today: Log Press (1st rep clean): 70kg x 6 80kg x 5 90kg x 4 100kg x 6 Log c+p: 90kg in 60secs x 6 Deadlift: 120kg x 6 140kg x 4 160kg x 2 started feeling pretty rough again at this point so I just left it there. | ||

TBH the log was better than expected but the c+p killed me. there was nothing left for deads. I think if I get a bit of focus back in my training 130 is definately possible. everythings been a bit scrappy recently. | ||

My gym training is mainly alone, and perform so much better on events day when I have motivation/someone to compete against Also always tend to get gym PBs when train with Big Mick/Millsy etc | ||

Training today: 2" Axle strict press: 60kg x 6 70kg x 4 80kg x 2 90kg x 1 + 1 FAIL 2" Axle push press: 80kg x 6 90kg x 4 100kg x 8 PB Stones (to 59"): 110kg x FAIL - damn thats high! 110kg 2 x 1 PB 130kg x 1 PB 130kg x FAIL - nothing left 110kg x 6 lapped pretty good session after finally getting rid of this stomach bug. strict press has definately stalled so im just going to leave it for a few weeks now to concentrate on pushies and jerks. I felt I had the strength to do more on the push press but my breathing wasnt right. lack of oxygen stopped me from nailing any more. a pb though nonetheless so im happy with that. well pleased with nailing 130 to 59" as thats chin height for me! had to get it as high as I could and then do a second push with my legs to throw it over. only just made that rep so I doubt I could go any higher with the 130. possibly could with the 110. vid of the pressing: | ||
