125kg+20kg chain/3,2,2,2 Belt on, first set had a slow last rep so I sat down and decided to hit the same volume but with doubles. Leaving the ego at the door! Feels so much harder squatting when Im lighter

Bodyweight up 0.2kg this week, probably just chippy weight from last night Grin

A good session, especially the 175 deads - I seemed to have lost my deadlift confidence but that set has brought me right back. Going to drop the 14 inchers and pull from the floor for the next four weeks and then a week off to go to jockland. No video this week as couldnt be bothered (again).

Thanks doc, pleased with the pulls - should get me back to where I was and more (with better tech this time)

My baby advice - dont expect much for at least six months. Low volume/low frequency/regular light weeks was what I did, you need to save your energy for elsewhere - since you are back at work!

I'm going to have to get better at doing this, otherwise I'm going to end up doing heavy, painful weekend workouts with nothing midweek.

When I train, I feel I either have to do plenty volume or heavy weight in order to feel 'worked out'. Otherwise I leave the gym unsatisfied.

I trained twice a week - once at the weekend as I wasnt as knackered then. I did a 4 week cycle and did 2 works sets a lift (one heavy and one at 90% of that set).

Controlling the volume is the big thing in my opinion, it will tire you the most. Remember you have wife/family/long drive/medical butchery to do, they are all more important. Also they say your test levels drop for 6 months after the child arrives so just accept it and try to maintain.

So after feeling rough, a very good session that went to plan! Squats were the one that worried me but went pretty good - did need some eminem to get me going though.
