Cheers, a little bit. I train overhead stuff by myself, so it's harder to get gee'd up, but after I failed to press the 100kg twice big Harry shouted at me just as I was about to press, and I got it. I think that gave me a bit of confidence and I pressed it out again later. I've got 100kg axle clean and press in 2 comps in July now, so I need to go in to them knowing I can get at least 1 rep.

70kg x40m (turn at 20m)
90kg x40m (turn at 20m, dropped at 30m)
110kg x10m ish (dropped at 5!) grip gone by this time

Next week I'll probably just do a 20m run with 70kg before going on to 110 to save the grip a bit. The lighter runs felt good, I think 110kg will go for 20m next week.

I know which one you are JC. I'll recognise you as the guy who fell off the stone! lol
Don't know what I'll be doing other than buying an atlas stone. I feel f**ked from today already. Might do some overhead stuff, log/axle maybe. I'm s**t at both, I'm hoping for some OSG inner strength. Reckon I'll be getting there at 10.30 ish.

Went to Olympic gym to pick up an atlas stone. Only did a bit of training while I was there, and a lot of spectating. Amazing gym, reminds me of where I started training years ago,(the original REPS in Preston) but with strongman kit too. Perfect. The lads there were all really friendly and stupidly strong! Got my 117kg stone in my garage now, just need to be able to lift it!

thanks mate, but my max log is 87kg! I think I saw you doing a s**t load more, and you're about 100 years younger than me, and a lot lighter. I think that was you, do you look like a younger bigger OB off Hollyoaks? Happy
