You have to take some of the credit Dan, if you hadn't suggested the Bill Starr Rehab stuff there's no way I would have been back to full fitness yet.

haha cheers mate, you put the effort in tho Grin

Yes and no Bill, I had been working up to this for a little while with my 5/3/1 routine before the injury. When I did the 220 PB (thanks to you) it was comfortable and I knew there was a bit more in there then, I think if I hadn't got injured then my PB might be 230 or even 235 now.

Rusev said:180x3 and 225x1 deads wow i would say you are getting back to full fitness well done. dont take long and i bet you are rearly enjoying it now. i know i would be.

is that a true lifetime pb or a pb since you been back so to speak

Cheers Rusev

Yes, that's my lifetime PB.
It feels good to be moving on again, my PB was 210 for a long time both gym and comp. I think that will be it for a little while though, I'm gurrently dropping a few pounds of lard and the 225 was right at the edge of what I can do now, there could have been a bit more there if I'd only done a single instead of a double at 200, who knows?

Cheers Mikey
The rehab is the Bill Starr rehab routine for muscle pulls, worked for me although I didn't go as far as using the ice.

Tonights training

Squats
10 x bar
5 x 60 kg
5 x 100 kg
5 x 140 kg
1 x 160 kg

Front squats, SLDL's, power cleans, Ab stuff

The 160 was nice and I fancied putting a bit more on the bar but I'd managed to pull my right arse cheek during warm up, feels like a dead leg now, nothing serious.

Chest and triceps session, nothing worth logging, gym was busy, didn't get to do any flat bench but lots of other sets and reps.

Tonights training

Deads
10 x bar
5 x 60 kg
5 x 100 kg
5 x 140 kg
3 x 180 kg
3 x 200 kg (PB)
1 x 220 kg

Rows, pulldowns

The triple at 200 was ugly and the 220 was horrible but they went up.
