Is the idea to get to 82.5k for a particular event, or is this a ...cough..cough a bit of a 'how i look in the mirror' thing. At the moment from where i sit your training seems to be going well. You've made excellent gains over the last few months and undoubtedly more to come. I suppose what i'm trying to say is why change a winning combination?

That's a fair bit of weight to lose!
Sure it won't affect your strength?!

The plan is to come down to 82.5 for the South Yorkshire un-equipped in May and put in a qualifying total for the British in September which would be at least 460 at that weight.
There's a bit of vanity involved if I'm honest but mainly it's because I feel uncomfortable and unfit when my weight goes up that high even though I do get quite a bit more strength from it.

I'm expecting to lose a bit Luke but if I can still get a 160/100/200 at 82.5 in May or June that will qualify me for the British

So how are you going to lose the weight. Last time when you were doing the shape up on MT, i remember you doing hours and hours of cardio. Are you going to do that again?

Pretty much the same Bill, not so much on the cardio more on increasing volume in training and better diet.

Should be a pb mate, the plan is 5 x 1 x 215, current pb is 210 both gym and comp.

Not tempted to go 1 x 215, 1 x 220. If you are planning to lose a lot of weight (10k is quite a lot) might be a lot more difficult in 3 weeks time to hit a pb.

That might not be a bad idea at all Bill, I like you're thinking.
