still a devious weightlifting bastard Member 43, 14379 posts | As a non PL I think it's a fair call. The number of threads where people are throwing in the "Oh yes it was..." arguements is unreal. There again you've got 'paused' benches and hitches on deads. Best that everyone just packs in PL, does strongman and all get on.

Member 930, 160 posts SQ 280, BP 195, DL 282.5757.5 kgs @ 134.4kgs UnEq | The arguments are only really seen on yank forums though arent they. I dont think most people would mind if they were to wear all their multi-ply kit, took a f**kload of gear and even did their 24-48hour weigh ins...as longs as they still actually did the lifts to the rule book...i.e. squat below // and rule books state crease of the hip below line of the knee, this cannot really be misinterpretted, its just blatantly disregarded in their quest to break "All Time" records!!!

As with reffing in all sports they can get it wrong, but I struggle to remember a squat that the refs got so wrong it was henous.

I havent been to many meets, but I've been to couple of nationals, and it did come up as an issue with those that I was there with. This was also within the same fed. Throw different orgs in the mix and no one can decide on anything. Just an outsider looking in, in fact I know nothing so I'll f**k off. lol

JEDWARD Member 454, 980 posts SQ 225, BP 170, DL 275670.0 kgs @ 106kgs UnEq | s**t stains are good Karl, I was also under the impression that a nose bleed was a sign of depth too. Can't help but wonder if in 20 years time PL will have died because of the 5 layer suits or whether everything will become raw.

Member 77, 12599 posts SQ 265, BP 165, DL 280710.0 kgs @ 93kgs UnEq | I feel if IPF has an unequipped worlds then equipped lifting as the mainstream days may well be numbered. WPC worlds too must be a major draw too. Off course if they just offered knee wraps then that would be another good thing. I don't see that happening too soon though. Will npo doubt need another generation or 2 of lifters to come through. Regardless they'll always have the squat!!!
