The following link will give the details you need to enter, the event is open to all comers. http://www.cricciethmemorialhall.com/Stones_of_Strength.html There are three levels of lift, break the ground, to the chest and to the shoulder. Criccieth's stone of strength is 177.5 kg in weight. This year's event is again being sponsored by AGRITRADER, who have put up £1000 for the first person to get the stone to their shoulder...... yes, that's a THOUSAND QUID!!!!! Got to be worth having a go at. Rules for lifting the Feat Stone 1. Treat the stone with respect. 2. No lifting aids, straps etc may be used. 3. No “Tacky” or sticky substances. 4. Chalk may be used. 5. Replace the stone where you have found it. 6. Be proud of your attempt if you have given your best. 7. Sign the guestbook to build the legend of the stone. Still got a little bit of strength Member 400, 22869 posts	I've also been to that Haven! BSM 2002 was around that area. If I lived nearby I'd maybe have a go, but it wouldn't move! Love stuff like this. Has the stone ever claimed a bicep?

bookies have him 2nd for BSM Member 1176, 318 posts	Not aware of any bicep damage, it is a beast of a stone, taking things right back to the roots of strongman with these feat stones. However £1000 not to be sniffed at......... would have a go myself, but I'll be holding the microphone!!
